Following the first presidential debate, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart remarked, "This feels unreal." During his Thursday monologue, the 61-year-old voiced concerns about both Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Stewart highlighted Trump's frequent false claims and Biden's perceived lackluster performance.
Jon Stewart Expresses Outrage at Trump-Biden Debate
Stewart, the veteran host of the Comedy Central show, was visibly dismayed by the 2024 presidential contenders. "Let me just say, after watching tonight's debate, both of these men should be on performance-enhancing drugs!" he exclaimed.
Stewart continued, "They should take as much of it as they can get, as often as their bodies can handle. If performance-enhancing drugs can enhance their clarity, problem-solving abilities—and in one candidate's case, improve their honesty, ethics, and excessive self-regard—then let them use suppositories."
