Regarding the NCERT row, Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Children should know about Babri demolition."

Asaduddin Owaisi accuses NCERT of changing textbook references to the Babri Mosque.
Babri Masjid is now described as a "three-domed structure" in class 12 textbooks.
Children shouldn't grow up "glorifying criminal acts," according to Asaduddin Owaisi.
Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), criticized the NCERT on Tuesday for changing references to the Ayodhya Babri Masjid in textbooks, which was destroyed by "kar sevaks" on December 6, 1992.

The name "Babri Masjid" was omitted from the Class 12 Political Science textbook during revisions by the NCERT. The construction is now referred to as a "three-domed structure" in the amended version. This has sparked a new controversy.

Owaisi stated that kids shouldn't grow up "glorifying criminal acts" and that they should be aware of the destruction of the Babri Masjid in a post on X.

"The NCERT has chosen to substitute the term 'three-domed edifice' for Babri Masjid. It has also chosen to characterize the Ayodhya ruling as an instance of "consensus." The Supreme Court deemed the demolition of Babri Masjid a "egregious criminal act," which India's children should be aware of, he tweeted.

Children in India should be aware that a masjid that was in operation was destroyed by a mob in 1992 after it was desecrated in 1949. The MP from Hyderabad stated, "They shouldn't grow up glorifying criminal acts."

The Ayodhya portion was reduced by the NCERT from four to two pages, and certain elements were removed from the previous edition.
