Realme's Vice President Chase Xu has confirmed the upcoming launch of the Realme GT 7 Pro in India. While details regarding specifications and pricing remain undisclosed, a Chinese tipster suggests that the GT 7 Pro will feature Qualcomm's next-generation chipset, potentially making it the first device to utilize this flagship processor. Additionally, Xiaomi's 15 and 15 Pro models are rumored to also incorporate the same chipset.

According to the tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Realme GT 7 Pro is anticipated to be the inaugural smartphone globally to integrate the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Qualcomm is slated to unveil this chipset in October, with rumors hinting at a Q4 launch timeframe for the phone.

This revelation follows shortly after Realme's Vice President Chase Xu's announcement regarding the upcoming launch of the Realme GT 7 Pro in India later this year.

The Realme GT 5 Pro was priced at CNY 3,298 (approximately Rs. 40,000) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The Realme GT 5 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264x2,780 pixels) AMOLED display, featuring a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and peak brightness reaching up to 4,500 nits. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, it offers configurations of up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage capacity. Its camera setup includes a triple rear camera system, headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor, accompanied by a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera for selfies. The device is equipped with a 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
