Mumbai Man Arrested After Killing Friend Over Auto Rickshaw Fare

Mumbai (Maharashtra): On Tuesday, the Mumbai Crime Branch detained a 29-year-old man from the Kalyan train station in Mumbai. He is suspected of killing his companion for the meager 30 rupee auto-rickshaw ticket.
The victim, Chakkan Ali, and the offender, named as Saif Zahid Ali, were buddies and both from the Uttar Pradesh district of Gonda, according to the Crime Branch. According to the criminal division, the two of them used to work in a Mumbai textile factory before moving here.

In the Kurla neighborhood of Mumbai, the accused is accused of killing his companion Chakkan Ali for not paying his auto rickshaw ticket.

The event occurred after the two got into a fight about paying the auto-rickshaw fare, which was only for thirty rupees. The Mumbai Crime Branch was notified that the disagreement later got violent and resulted in a murder.

Sahid Ali was apprehended by Mumbai Crime Branch at Kalyan Railway Station and turned over to Kurla Police.
