Leaked renders of the Moto G85 5G highlight key design features. Shared in a blog post by ToolJunction, the handset is depicted in a blue color variant and features a dual rear camera module. Engravings on the module suggest that the phone may sport a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).
The rear camera module on the Moto G85 5G showcases a distinct design compared to its predecessor. In the leaked renders, the two camera sensors are situated within two distinct circular units arranged vertically. They are accompanied by an elliptical LED flash unit.
According to the renders, the Moto G85 5G may sport a rear panel with a matte, textured finish. The right edge of the handset appears to accommodate the power and volume buttons, while a USB Type-C charging port is observed at the bottom edge.
On the front, the Moto G85 5G is depicted with a curved display featuring slim, consistent bezels. This marks a departure from the flat, slightly thicker bezels seen on the previous Moto G84 5G model. Additionally, the front panel showcases a centered hole-punch cutout at the top of the display for the front camera.
The Moto G85 5G, codenamed 'malmo', was recently sighted on Geekbench featuring a chipset purportedly identified as Qualcomm's unannounced Snapdragon 4 Gen 3. The listing further indicated that the phone may come with an Android 14-based user interface, an Adreno 619 GPU, and 8GB of RAM.
Meanwhile, an inadvertent listing on a European retail site hinted at a possible price of EUR 300 (approximately Rs. 27,100) for the Moto G85 5G.
