Hyderabad: BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar chastised the officials for inadequate preparations for the Yellamma Kalyanam during his visit to the Balkampet Yellamma shrine on Tuesday.
There was allegedly insufficient security when VIPs visited the temple. Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, who was sitting on the divider across from the temple, joined him in complaining about the devotees pushing them about.
The Minister confronted Collector Anudeep Durishetty, who was visiting the temple, expressing his anger and requesting that he address the matter as soon as possible. On a number of social media sites, videos of the Mayor and the Minister driving are currently going viral.
