The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will hold the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 tomorrow, May 26. The computer-based test is for admission to engineering, architecture, and other programs in IITs.
JEE Advanced 2024 will have two papers. Each paper will last for three hours. Paper 1 will be from 9 am to noon, and paper 2 will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The JEE Advanced 2024 question paper will have three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Some questions will have negative marking.
Candidates must bring their JEE Advanced admit card (2024) and a photo ID to the exam hall. The admit card is available on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.

Experts suggest the following tips to score maximum marks in the engineering entrance exam:
- Focus on high-priority topics and prepare chapters that were frequently asked and had high weight in previous exams.
- Build a strong understanding of the basic principles, logic, and applications of concepts to solve various questions effectively.
- Develop a strategy to manage time during the exam. Prioritize easier questions to ensure maximum marks within the given time and save time for revision.
- Ensure adequate sleep, stay hydrated, and follow a balanced diet before the exam days.
- Maintain a positive mindset and believe in your ability to succeed.
The top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualified for the JEE Main 2024 exam will appear for the JEE Advanced. Most of these candidates are from Uttar Pradesh, followed by Maharashtra and Telangana.
