The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore is conducting the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2024 exam today, May 23, 2024. The exam will take place in a single shift from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Candidates appearing for the IPMAT 2024 exam must download their admit cards from the official website, iimidr.ac.in. The admit card can be downloaded using the registration number and password.

The IPMAT exam is the entrance test for the five-year integrated programme at IIM Indore, offering a dual degree: Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). It is also accepted by other prestigious institutions such as IIM Ranchi, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, Alliance University, NICMAR University, and more.

IPMAT 2024: Exam Pattern

The IPMAT 2024 exam consists of three sections with a total of 100 questions. Each section has a duration of 40 minutes, making the total duration of the exam 120 minutes. Candidates earn four marks for each correct answer and lose one mark for each wrong response. The section-wise question distribution is as follows:

  • Quantitative Ability: 25 questions
  • Verbal Ability: 50 questions
  • Quantitative Ability: 25 questions

Candidates are shortlisted for personal interviews based on their IPMAT scores, which carry a weightage of 65% in the selection process. Personal interviews hold a weightage of 25%.

Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the IPMAT 2024 exam should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Carry the IPMAT 2024 admit card and original government ID proof.
  • Arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the scheduled start time.
  • Refrain from bringing any electronic devices, such as smartphones, smartwatches, pen drives, etc.
  • Review the exam instructions provided in the admit card thoroughly.
