On Saturday, Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik, the governor of Arunachal Pradesh, urged the recently elected MLAs to diligently and devotedly strive for the comprehensive and all-encompassing development of each and every state citizen. Parnaik stated, speaking to the assembly's lawmakers, that it is imperative to make sure that no one is left behind.
"It is your duty to ensure the well-being of our citizens and create opportunities for all, irrespective of their socio-economic background," he added.
The people's mandate, he said, clearly expresses their desire for good governance, policy stability, and ongoing progress. Under Chief Minister Pema Khandu's direction, 'Team Arunachal' has been able to dramatically alter the state's developmental trajectory.
The governor stated that in the last few years, Arunachal Pradesh has made tremendous strides in all areas, including infrastructure, health, education, women's empowerment, sports, agriculture, and digital governance.
The precursor of equal social welfare, health, and education will be clean and active governance. "I have no doubt that a state vision document outlining overarching objectives and the guiding principles to attain them will serve as a priceless manual for our dear state's ongoing development," the governor stated.
