Union Budget: AP benefits, Telangana disappointed again

Hyderabad: Keeping up the "tradition" of the last ten years, Telangana was extremely disappointed with the Union Budget. The Union Budget did not include any of the State's significant requests for funding distribution.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman offered no new initiatives for the State during her budget speech, with the exception of the Hyderabad-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor, which is primarily intended to aid Andhra Pradesh's Rayalaseema district.
Unsurprisingly, Sitharaman showered Andhra Pradesh, run by the BJP ally TDP, with presents and special packages, including money to fulfill the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act's requirements. She promised to work together to fulfill the obligations outlined in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, but she only gave Andhra Pradesh particular funding, disregarding Telangana's demands.
The current fiscal year will see the allocation of Rs 15,000 crore for the development of Andhra Pradesh's capital. According to the AP Reorganisation Act, three districts will receive grants for backward regions, she added, meeting the demands of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. She promised to provide additional funding in the future for capital projects.
Additionally, the Union Finance Minister said that the Center was totally committed.
