"Special Treatment? Shah Questions Kejriwal's Bail, Explained by Sarma"
Join us as we delve into the latest political controversies, with Home Minister Shah questioning the bail granted to Kejriwal, alleging special treatment, and Sarma providing insights into the ambitious 400-seat target.

Amit Shah criticized the granting of bail to Kejriwal as special treatment, while Sarma explained the 400-seat target.
Amit Shah criticized the Supreme Court's decision to grant interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, labeling it as "special treatment." He stated in an interview with ANI that while the court has the right to interpret the law, the judgement in Kejriwal's case was not routine. Shah noted that some perceive the court order as favoritism towards Kejriwal, who had been in custody for over 50 days.
The Union government has refuted allegations of political vendetta in Kejriwal's case regarding the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy. However, opponents of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have accused it of exploiting the law and agencies, particularly the Enforcement Directorate (ED). They have pointed to cases against former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader K Kavita as instances of vendetta against political rivals.
Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, a prominent BJP campaigner, has stirred controversy with his remarks explaining why the BJP aims to secure more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha. Sarma asserted that with a significant majority of 400 plus, the BJP would facilitate the construction of the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple in Mathura and the Gyanvapi Temple in Varanasi, and implement the Uniform Civil Code. He also mentioned the potential merger of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir with India.
