Bold Move: Kangana Ranaut Condemns Assault on Raveena Tandon

Kangana Ranaut showed up to support the entertainer involved in a fight on Saturday night after a man claimed her car allegedly hit his mother. Mumbai Police denied that the entertainer's car hit anyone. The entertainer and BJP politician took to her Instagram Story to condemn the incident, calling it "totally disturbing" and denouncing the "road rage." She demanded that the offenders be punished. "What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is disturbing. If there had been 5-6 more people in the opposite group, she would have been lynched. We condemn such road rage; those people should be punished severely. They should not get away with such violent and toxic behavior," wrote the Queen actress.

In a video that went viral online, a man is seen arguing with Raveena, claiming that the entertainer's driver hit his mother. He claimed that when confronted, the entertainer allegedly attacked his mother. According to the individual, the incident happened when he was walking with his mother, sister, and niece near the entertainer's home on Carter Street.

DCP Rajtilak Roshan of Zone 9 told PTI that CCTV footage showed the women were near the entertainer's car but were not hit. Raveena also shared Roshan's statement on her X (formerly Twitter) account. "The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the entertainer's driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same path. The family stopped the car and told the driver he should check if people were behind the car before reversing, and an argument started between them," the DCP said.

Raveena came out to support her driver, but the argument escalated. She can be heard in the video saying, "This argument turned into abusive language, and entertainer Raveena Tandon arrived at the spot to see what had happened with her driver. The entertainer tried to protect the driver from the crowd; however, the crowd started abusing her. Both Raveena Tandon and the family went to the Khar police station and gave written complaints. Later, they both submitted letters stating they did not want to file any complaints," DCP Rajtilak Roshan said, adding, "No one was hurt in this incident. We checked the CCTV footage, and the car did not hit anyone. The entertainer was not drunk."

Police said none of the parties filed complaints. "Tandon's driver was trying to reverse the car to park it, and three family members thought they would get hit. After the argument, both parties left, and later, police arrived at the spot and questioned Tandon's staff. The other party was also called to the police station. Both parties denied submitting any complaints."
