No coercive kidnapping at Tarnaka Metro, confirm police

Hyderabad: A widely shared social media post alleging that a girl was abducted from the city's Tarnaka Metro station has been refuted by the Telangana State Police's Women Safety Wing.

Authorities declared that the girl in question had been securely restored to her parents and that there had not been any violent kidnapping.

"A complaint has been filed, and the results of the inquiry show that the girl was not taken by force. The police clarified, "She has gone back home to her parents."

This widely shared letter alerted people to possible human trafficking activities in Tarnaka, Habsiguda, Nacharam, Mettuguda, and NGRI. It also implied that women at bus stops were collecting information to ensnare girls.

Police explained that the information was untrue and had made residents unnecessarily anxious.

Authorities emphasized how crucial it is to confirm information before disseminating such communications.
