Gautam Gambhir has not commented on his plans to take over as coach of India.
As team mentor, the 42-year-old recently contributed significantly to KKR's third IPL championship victory.
In response to questions on whether he should take over as the next head coach of India, Gautam Gambhir said on Friday that he doesn't "see that far ahead."
"I can't see that far in the future. You're asking me all these difficult questions and grilling me. It is challenging to respond at this time. All I can say is that I'm content to be here, that we've just completed an amazing adventure, and let's enjoy it. At an Indian Chambers of Commerce event, Gambhir remarked, "I'm in a very happy space right now."
