The biggest film office hit of the year, Kalki 2898 AD by director Nag Ashwin, is about to finish its one-month run in theaters. According to industry tracking website Sacnilk, the post-apocalyptic epic reached two milestones on its 29th day at the box office: the Rs 739 crore gross mark in domestic receipts and the staggering Rs 1100 mark in gross worldwide earnings. After collecting about Rs 1.5 crore on Thursday, Nag Ashwin's movie's domestic nett profits currently stand at Rs 623.7 crore.
The Deepika Padukone and Prabhas movie is now the seventh Indian movie to gross over Rs 1000 crore globally. Prabhas has solidified his status as one of the biggest stars in India for his generation with this.
