"27 saal pehle ek fauji ne vada kiya tha ki vo vapas aayega," he adds in the video. Twenty-seven years ago, a soldier swore he would return. India ki mitti ko apna salaam kehne, aa raha hai. Ussi vaade ko poora karne. He is coming to honor the Indian soil and to keep his word."
"Border 2" is referred to be "India's biggest war film" in the trailer. 'Sandese Aaate Hain' by Sonu Nigam and Roopkumar Rathod plays in the background of the video.
Anurag Singh will serve as the director of Border 2. Punjab 1984, Kesari, Jatt & Juliet, Dil Bole Hadippa!, and more movies he has directed. The remaining members of the cast have not yet been revealed by the producers.
JP Dutta's 1997 blockbuster war film Border has a follow-up called Border 2. With a cast that included stars Sunny Deol, Suneil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Puneet Issar, among others, the movie was set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Deol played the hard-bitten Sardar Major Kuldeep Singh, who commands his unit.
