The second season of House of the Dragon's eighth episode leaked online a few days before it was supposed to air.
Just five days before the episode's scheduled August 4 broadcast, fans of House of the Dragon suffered a serious setback this week when large chunks of the season two finale were leaked online. A almost 30-minute clip from the much awaited ending was posted on TikTok. Even though the leaked footage was swiftly removed, replica recordings soon proliferated on social media. It has been recommended that fans who are keen to prevent spoilers exercise caution on social media and mute any pertinent hashtags. According to Variety, the TikTok account posted 14 videos from the Season 2 finale, each of which received thousands of views.
