For the first time, two Indian eateries create history by being listed among the World's 100 Best Restaurants.
This year, both are new additions to the list.
In 2024, two Indian eateries secured highly sought-after positions on the list of the World's 100 Best Restaurants. Masque, a fine dining establishment in Mumbai, was named the Best Restaurant in India, coming in at number 78. The Indian accent in New Delhi was ranked #89. This year, both are new additions to the list.
Notably, Masque and Indian Accent were ranked #1 in Asia in 2024's list of the 50 Best Restaurants.
Bangkok, the restaurant owned by Indian chef Gaggan Anand, is ranked ninth, demonstrating how good it is getting. They ascended from their #17 position on the 2023 list to be on the list for the second year in a row. Additionally, the eatery was named Asia's Best Restaurant.
