India's New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department reports that the nation's capital saw a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, which is typical for this time of year.
3.7% humidity was measured at 7:30 a.m.
According to weather department predictions, there will be a heat wave in several parts of Delhi during the day, with strong, sometimes gusty surface breezes.
In the IMD color classifications, "orange alert" means "be prepared" and is imposed on Delhi for Tuesday. It is expected that the highest temperature will be approximately 44 degrees Celsius.
