Delhi, New: Airlines such as IndiGo and SpiceJet have experienced disruptions to their flight schedules as a result of the Friday morning ceiling collapse at Delhi airport, which resulted in six injuries and one fatality.
Following the event, airlines released a press release alerting travelers to the fact that multiple flights had been canceled due to bad weather and structural damage to Terminal 1. The statement also recommended travelers to monitor and verify the status of their flights.

"IndiGo flight operations are impacted due to structural damage to Terminal 1, Delhi Airport because of adverse weather conditions," the airline stated in a statement. In Delhi, this has resulted in flight cancellations since travelers are unable to access the terminal. Those with flights later in the day will be given options, but passengers already inside the terminal will be allowed to board their scheduled planes."

"The network's overall operations have also been disrupted by this unforeseen circumstance. Before heading to the airport, customers are urged to monitor and verify the status of their flight. Travelers on IndiGo can contact 0124 6173838 or 0124 4973838 for assistance with their itinerary. We are sorry for any difficulty this has caused the passengers," IndiGo said in its statement.
