Ambani wedding: 60 floral sculptures, canal, 2,500 dishes.
Everyone laughed when Nita Ambani briefly mispronounced her daughter Isha Ambani's name when introducing her family members during Anant and Radhika's wedding on Monday.
The Ambani wedding, which took place over several months and involved activities all around the world before concluding in a four-day extravaganza that was attended by politicians, businesspeople, heads of state, Bollywood celebrities, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and John Cena, can only be described as grand. The festivities were held at the Jio World Centre, which had amazing Kashi-inspired décor.
The site was impressive, with over 100,000 Indian flowers used to create each of the 60 floral animal sculptures, which included tigers, elephants, and monkeys. There was also an artificial canal and waterfall. On Friday and Saturday, 2,000 people attended the wedding and "Aashirwad" ritual; estimates for Sunday's Mangal Utsav put the attendance closer to 14,000.
