Wayanad: According to a statement released by officials on Tuesday, 225 Army personnel have been sent in to assist with rescue efforts in Wayanad, Kerala, where landslides have claimed 11 lives. Massive landslides that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday struck the Meppadi area in Wayanad, resulting in at least 11 deaths and several suspected injuries.
