Bollywood Star Shahid Kapoor and Wife Purchase Luxury Mumbai Apartment

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and his spouse Mira Rajput Kapoor have acquired a lavish sea-view apartment valued at approximately Rs 60 crore. The property, located in Mumbai's Worli area within the Oberoi 360 West project, spans 5,395 sq ft according to RERA records.

It comes with three parking spaces. The transaction, valued at Rs 58.66 crore, was officially registered on May 24. The couple bought the apartment from Chandak Real Estate Pvt Ltd, who had acquired it for Rs 35.31 crore in February 2023 as part of a larger deal totaling Rs 1,238 crore.

A real estate agent, speaking anonymously, highlighted the significant appreciation in value within a year, with the apartment's price per sq ft rising from around Rs 65,000 to over Rs 1 lakh. Shahid and Mira Kapoor paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.75 crore for the transfer.

The Oberoi 360 West project comprises two towers: one housing The Ritz-Carlton hotel, and the other featuring luxury residences managed by The Ritz-Carlton. These towers are positioned to maximize ocean views for each residence while ensuring privacy and security.

Tower A, where the residences are situated, boasts 52 stories and reaches a height of 255.6 m (839 ft), as per details provided by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) website.
