This book-style foldable smartphone, initially introduced in China in March, is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and boasts Zeiss-branded cameras. Sporting an 8-inch inner folding screen, it is equipped with a 5,700mAh battery. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro marks Vivo's debut into the foldable smartphone segment in India.

The announcement was made through a press invite, and both Flipkart and Vivo have set up dedicated pages on their websites to build anticipation for the launch. Interestingly, the June 6 launch date was previously leaked accidentally on the company's website.

As for the pricing, details for the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in India are yet to be officially revealed. However, in China, it was launched starting at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs. 1,16,000) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, as per expectations, is anticipated to arrive with certain specifications. The Chinese version of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro operates on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 layered on top, while the Indian variant is likely to come with Funtouch OS. Its key features include an 8.03-inch 2K (2,200x2,480 pixels) AMOLED inner foldable display and a 6.53-inch (1,172x2,748 pixels) AMOLED external display. Driving the device is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. It integrates a Vivo V3 imaging chip and is constructed with a Carbon fibre hinge.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro houses a Zeiss-branded camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main camera. For selfies, it features 32-megapixel selfie shooters on both the outer and inner screens. Fueling the device is a 5,700mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. When folded, it measures 11.2mm in thickness.
