In Bhalesa village's heavily forested Kota Top area, the firefight broke out at approximately 7:40 p.m., according to officials. According to the most recent reports, reinforcements had been sent in to bolster the search and conduct cordon operations in an effort to drive the terrorists out of the area.

Terrorists opened fire on a search party in the heavily forested Kota top area of Bhalesa, resulting in a gunfight with security forces, according to a statement released by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Fareed Ahmed, the constable, was hurt in the process. He was receiving treatment while in the hospital.
Four terrorists engaged in two attacks in the Doda district were depicted in sketches by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, who also offered a reward of Rs 20 lakh for information leading to their capture. Additionally, a Rs 5 lakh cash reward has been given for information leading to the identity of each terrorist.
