Sangareddy: In a startling development, a couple of con artists defrauded multiple ladies by offering to install them in government hospitals throughout the district as staff nurses, ANMs, clerks, data entry operators, attendants, and other positions. It was shocking to see that the two accused women had made fictitious appointment orders with the official's signature removed and sent them to the victims, portraying two people as district-level officers. The accused allegedly claimed that DMHO or the Collector was preoccupied with other matters. Three women arrived at the government hospital with the appointment letters, expecting to start work, but discovered they were fraudulent because the institution did not have any such letters.

On Thursday, Lakshmi and Suvarna went up to the police. According to reports, the three gave Mariyamma Rs 2.50 lakhs apiece. Mariyamma and Anuradha were discovered by the police to have cheated on at least twenty women. The police are doing a thorough investigation to determine the total number of victims. Inspector Bhaskar of One-town stated that they were investigating the identity of the person who aided Mariyamma and Anurdha during the entire undertaking. According to reports, the accused informed the job seekers that the hiring process was being done in support of the country's rural health mission. In the meantime, Anil Kumar, the superintendent of the government hospital in Sangareddy, urged job applicants not to fall for con artists, as hiring will only begin after receiving approval from the Collector.
