Actor Sai Durgha Tej, formerly known as Sai Dharam Tej, has been in the news lately due to a reported falling out with his cousin, Allu Arjun. At a recent press conference in Hyderabad, Niharika Konidela—the daughter of Nagababu and cousin to Sai and Allu—was questioned about the same. This is what she had to say.
Niharika launched the teaser for her forthcoming film Committee Kurrollu and promoted it at a press conference. Given the closeness among all the cousins, a reporter questioned her about the reported split between her and inquired if she knew Sai had unfollowed Allu.
On the other hand, Niharika asserted her ignorance, saying, "To be honest, I was unaware of this until you informed me. I apologize; I was unaware of that. "But, whatever it is, I'm sure they have their own reasons," she did add, implying that if it is genuine, there must be a reason.
Fans discovered earlier this week that Sai had unfollowed Allu and his spouse Sneha Reddy on Instagram and X, the previous Twitter platform. Upon Pawan Kalyan's oath of office as Andhra Pradesh's deputy chief minister, a few fans observed that Sai was not following them and started posting screenshots on X.
Hindustan Times was informed by a family-close source that Sai hasn't been following Allu lately. "People didn't realize that Sai wasn't following Arjun and Sneha until he unfollowed them shortly after the elections," they claimed. The insider declined to provide any other details, as did the actors' team.
