Redmi A3x is reportedly set to launch soon in both Indian and global markets. Earlier this year, the purported Redmi phone was spotted on several certification sites. Now, a report claims that the Redmi A3x will be unveiled shortly, leaking details about the smartphone's design, key specifications, and features. It is rumored to be an upgraded version of the Redmi A3, which debuted in India in February.

Redmi A3x Specifications and Features 

According to a report by Passionategeekz, the global and Indian variants of the rumored Redmi A3x will bear the model numbers 24048RN6CG and 24048RN6CI, respectively. The report suggests that the handset will be unveiled "in the upcoming days." Additionally, leaked promotional materials for the alleged Redmi A3x indicate key features and design details.

The Redmi A3x is anticipated to feature a 6.71-inch 90Hz LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, according to the report. It is rumored to be equipped with a Unisoc T603 chipset, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The device is expected to come with storage options of 64GB and 128GB. Additionally, it is said to run on Android 14-based UI.

According to the report, the Redmi A3x is expected to feature an 8-megapixel primary rear camera sensor alongside a 0.08-megapixel 'decorative' sensor. The front camera of the handset is rumored to include a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. For security, the phone could come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as AI Face Unlock feature.

The Redmi A3x is said to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging. Leaked promotional images from the report suggest that the phone will be available in two color options - Green and Grey. The design appears to be similar to that of the Redmi A3.

The Redmi A3 was launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 7,299 for the 3GB + 64GB option. The 4GB + 128GB variant was priced at Rs. 8,299, while the 6GB + 128GB variant was priced at Rs. 9,299. It was available in Midnight Black, Lake Blue, and Olive Green color options.
