Late on Monday night, the state administration made the decision to move Dr. Pooja Khedkar, an IAS probationer, from Pune to Washington. The transfer was carried out for administrative reasons, according to the government order, which was signed by S M Mahadik, assistant secretary, government of Maharashtra. According to well-placed government sources, the probation officer will probably be the subject of an investigation into the many grievances filed against her.
Because many were caught off guard by Khedkar's demands and behavior, she caused a stir within the government. She was not allowed to utilize a beacon light on a vehicle while serving as a probationary officer, but she had nonetheless done so with her personal cars. In addition, she had requested letter pads, a staff office, and separate lodgings, all of which she had not received.
