Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned during an interview on Thursday that he is soliciting ideas from the youth of India for his development agenda.

Confident of securing a third term in power, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government already has a blueprint for the next 100 days prepared, as revealed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a television interview on Thursday.

The blueprint, which he intends to extend to 125 days, was formulated after observing the enthusiasm among first-time voters and the youth of India, he stated. The PM had previously designated youths among the four groups prioritized by his government, alongside women, farmers, and the poor.

The PM also emphasized his efforts to solicit ideas from the youth for his development agenda. "I want the involvement of the youth and want them to share their ideas. I want to dedicate 25 days in total to the youth of my country. I will do it, I am moving ahead from 100 days," he stated.

Inputs from over 2 million people across the country have already been collected to assist in drafting the blueprint of the government’s agenda for the first 100 days.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah's unexpected visit to the Kashmir Valley amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha elections has surprised many, given that the BJP is not contesting in any of the three seats in the valley. However, Shah's visit is anticipated to energize the party's cadre ahead of the assembly elections. The Supreme Court has instructed the Centre to ensure that assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir are conducted by September this year.

During his two-day visit, Shah is engaging with representatives from various communities, including the Pahadis who were recently granted reservation benefits in the Union Territory. He is also reported to have instructed the party to initiate preparations for the assembly elections. The party cadre in the Union Territory was disheartened by the leadership's decision not to contest the three seats in the valley. A senior leader mentioned that the decision was made for strategic reasons.

Despite the BJP's assurance that there will be no alterations to the Constitution or the existing caste-based reservation system, its political adversaries persist in raising concerns.

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal alleged on Thursday that if the BJP secures a majority and returns to power, it will abolish reservation for SCs, STs, and OBCs.

Addressing public gatherings in Punjab, he stated that the BJP's slogan of "400 paar" indicates a desire for a commanding majority to enact changes to the Constitution. "We questioned why they need 400 seats. They replied that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to accomplish significant initiatives. However, we discovered that Modi ji intends to abolish reservation, which was established by Babasaheb Ambedkar," Kejriwal claimed.
