NEST 2024: Candidates can download the admit card from June 15 through the official website.

The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, will close the registration window for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 tomorrow, May 31. The NEST 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 30.

Candidates can fill out the NEST 2024 application form by visiting the official website, nextexam.in. The institute will issue the NEST 2024 admit card on June 15. The NEST result 2024 will be declared on July 10.

The application fee for male candidates from the general and other backward classes (OBC) categories for NEST 2024 is Rs 1,400. For candidates belonging to the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and Divyangjan (physically challenged) categories, as well as for all female candidates, the application fee is Rs 700.

The NEST 2024 exam will be conducted to fill a total of 200 seats for the integrated Master of Science (MSc) program in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.

NEST 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to appear in the NEST 2024 should check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:

  • General or OBC category candidates should have a birth date on or after August 1, 2003. Reserved category candidates are provided a maximum relaxation of 5 years.
  • Candidates should have completed their Class 12 with physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
  • Candidates from the general or other backward classes (OBC) category are required to have passed Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate, while candidates belonging to the reserved category should have obtained at least 55% in their Class 12 exam.
