Jammu erupts and issues a challenge
The security grid will "mature and manifest" over time, therefore persistence and patience are needed: officer in the Army.
On June 19, the Army engaged in combat at Sopore, in the Baramulla area of north Kashmir, killing two militants. The two were responsible for the ambush that killed four soldiers in Thanamandi on December 21 of last year. They had entered into Rajouri-Poonch in Jammu from Pakistan.
The investigation turned up footage from an Abu Dhabi T20 cricket match on their iPhones, which indicated a "level of education not very common and a good family background." An official stated that their use of weaponry indicated they were among the "most highly trained terrorists seen in 20 years."
The tale of these two terrorists' journey from Jammu to Kashmir, which took place five years after August 5, 2019, is indicative of a major change in security.
