iPhone SE 4 Expected to Be Slightly Pricier Than Previous Model

Apple is reportedly working on the fourth-generation iPhone SE, touted as the successor to the iPhone SE (2022). While there's no official launch date yet, it's expected to bring a redesigned look and new features. Recent leaks suggest that the iPhone SE 4 might cost slightly more than its predecessor and adopt the design of the iPhone 14, featuring a larger battery and Face ID support.

According to tipster J. Reve (@Revegnus1) on X, Apple aims to keep the iPhone SE 4's price below $500 (around Rs. 41,000). The starting price of the iPhone SE (2022) was $429 (about Rs. 35,000). The tipster suggests that the US launch price could either remain at $429 or increase by around 10 percent. Even with a price hike, Apple might keep it within the $499 price range.

Rumors also indicate that the iPhone SE 4, expected to debut in 2025, could feature a 48-megapixel primary rear camera, a 6.1-inch LTPS OLED display, and a 3,279mAh battery similar to the iPhone 14. It's likely to include Face ID and Apple's proprietary 5G modem chip, as well as a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone's dimensions could measure 147.7x71.5x7.7mm.

The iPhone SE was initially launched in 2016. The third version of the iPhone SE was introduced in India in 2022, starting at Rs. 43,900 for the base 64GB variant.

The iPhone SE (2022) is powered by Apple's A15 Bionic SoC and features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display. It includes a single 12-megapixel camera sensor on the rear and a 7-megapixel camera sensor on the front.
