Reflecting on the gesture, Vashu Bhagnani shared, "Akshay was the first to call me and offer reassurance, saying not to worry and to let him know if there was anything he could do. His support was unconditional. I also received calls from Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, and my old friend David Dhawan. I am deeply touched by everyone's support; they are people who stand by you."
Describing the film industry as his first love, Bhagnani added, "I have a deep love for the film industry; it's my lifeblood. There are still incredibly emotional people in this industry who remain steadfast by your side through all circumstances."
Vashu Bhagnani Addresses Rumors:
In response to recent rumors, producer Vashu Bhagnani clarified that the building in question is undergoing redevelopment, a plan that was set over a year and a half ago. He emphasized that contrary to reports, the office space has not been sold and still belongs to him.
"The building that's being discussed hasn't been sold to anyone; it remains under my ownership. We've been planning its redevelopment into luxury homes for the past 1.5 years. Our intention was to commence after the release of 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'," Bhagnani stated.
Regarding staff layoffs, Bhagnani affirmed that their team continues to operate from their existing office, which holds sentimental value for them. "We have retained our team, many of whom have been with us for a decade," he clarified.
Addressing allegations of unpaid dues, Bhagnani urged individuals claiming owed payments to approach directly. "If there are any financial disputes, I urge people to come forward with proper contracts and documentation. We are willing to resolve any issues through dialogue and legal means," he added.
Reflecting on Pooja Entertainment's legacy, Bhagnani highlighted their longstanding presence in the industry, having produced notable films like "Coolie No. 1", "Hero No. 1", "BellBottom", and others. He reaffirmed their commitment to various ventures, including real estate and international collaborations, dismissing any claims of financial irresponsibility or evasion.
"Pooja Entertainment holds some of the industry's major intellectual properties and remains dedicated to upholding its reputation," Bhagnani concluded.
