Mahmudullah's grimace said it all. With their first-ever T20 International victory over South Africa requiring six runs from the final two balls, Mahmudullah's delivery couldn't have come at a better time. Aiden Markram, the captain of South Africa, was left with no option but to use left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj for the final over with 11 required after all of his pacers were knocked out.
Maharaj delivered a full toss off the fifth that fell precisely in line for Mahmuduallah to deposit anywhere he pleased, outside off and at a decent height.
