Song written by Kamal Haasan for the upcoming Tamil movie Thug Life

Renowned actor Kamal Haasan, who is well-known for his range of abilities, is supposedly writing a song for his next Tamil movie, "Thug Life," which is helmed by the highly regarded Mani Ratnam. The movie is the pair's comeback together over thirty years after their seminal work together on "Nayakan." According to a person familiar with the project, Kamal is well-known for his proficiency in Tamil and his poems in the language. He wrote the words to a song that was composed by the great A.R. Rahman. Amazingly, he composed the song in just one hour after getting the melody from Rahman, exhibiting a level of proficiency and quickness that rivals that of any experienced lyricist."
