The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Ring are anticipated to be revealed soon at an upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Prior to this, both the smartphone and wearable have purportedly appeared on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, providing insights into their battery capacities. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is anticipated to feature a slightly larger battery compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Additionally, the Galaxy Ring is expected to be offered in sizes ranging from 5 to 12.
In the FCC listing, identified by MySmartPrice, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Ring are associated with model numbers SM-F741U and SM-Q503, respectively. The listing indicates that the clamshell foldable phone will come equipped with dual-cell batteries bearing model numbers EB-BF741ABY and EB-BF742ABY. Furthermore, the FCC listing reveals that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will support Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, 5GHz, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and Bluetooth.
According to pre-shipment inspection (PSI) certificate screenshots shared by the publication, the battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is rated at 3,790mAh, a slight increase from the 3,700mAh battery found in the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It is speculated that Samsung may market it as a 4,000mAh battery.
According to the alleged listing, the Galaxy Ring is set to be available in sizes ranging from 5 to 12. It is anticipated that the 5, 6, and 7 sizes will feature a 17mAh battery, while the 8, 9, 10, and 11 sizes will come with an 18.5mAh battery. The largest size, 12, is said to accommodate a 22.5mAh battery.
