Actor Aamir Ali remembered his meetings with the late Sahara India Parivar owner, Subrata Roy. Ali began his career as a cabin crew member before pursuing a modelling career that finally led to offers for film and television acting. Every time they met, he claimed that the extravagant billionaire would give him a playful slap on the face and personally give him the go-ahead to take time off to pursue modeling assignments. In addition, Subrata Roy wouldn't let Aamir leave the airline until he established himself in the entertainment sector.
