The Wait is Over: Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar Finally Collaborate!

Movie maker Karan Johar and superstar Shah Rukh Khan have teamed up again, but with a twist. Instead of directing his actor friend, Karan appears alongside him in a new advertisement. The ad starts with Shah Rukh in his car, waving to fans, when Karan interrupts, asking why he agreed to do the ad. Shah Rukh then explains, asking Karan why he has a problem with it.

"Problem? If everyone starts wearing global brands and looks stylish, who will look at me?" he says as Shah Rukh laughs. Karan continues, "Sorry Shah Rukh, as your favorite director, I'm not letting you do this shoot." Shah Rukh then interrupts, saying, "Karan," trying to make his point, but Karan keeps saying no. The back-and-forth continues until Karan finally gives in.

Karan has directed Shah Rukh in some of the most iconic films of modern times, from "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham," to "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna," among others. He last directed him in "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," where Shah Rukh had a cameo. On the work front, Shah Rukh is preparing for his action film "The King" with Suhana Khan, while Karan is working on a revenge action drama for his next project as a director.
