Bad Newz, Vicky Kaushal's biggest hit at the box office, is only growing in size and success. The weekend saw a sharp increase in the box office receipts for the movie, which debuted at Rs 8.5 crore on Friday and outperformed Vicky's 2019 blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike. The Anand Tiwari-directed movie saw a gain of more than 23% on its debut Saturday, earning Rs 2 crore more than it did on its first day of release. According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie had a further 7.32% rise on Sunday, or Rs 11 crore, bringing its grand total to Rs 29.55 crore India nett. With only Rs 8.25 crore at the box office during the weekend, the movie outperformed Prabhas' multi-star science fiction blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD.
