The renowned Amitabh Bachchan was formerly an acquaintance of actor-producer Jamnadas "JD" Majethia, who related a tale of the star's generosity and encouragement to him in the past. As a young actor, JD had acted in the lead role in the Vipul Amrutlal Shah-directed Gujarati film Dariya Chhoru. He recalled what transpired after and added that he asked Amitabh to see the movie several times.
