GATE 2025 Information Brochure Is Available; View Exam Highlights

New Delhi: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 information brochure has been made available by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. The booklet includes details on the registration and exam schedule, dates for results announcement, the structure of the exam, and eligibility requirements, among other things. 
Registration for the GATE exam will open on August 24, 2024, and close on September 26, 2024, according to the information provided in the booklet.  October 7, 2024, will be the last day to register with a late charge.  To fill out the application forms, interested and qualified candidates should visit the GATE 2025 official website at https://gate2025.jitr.ac.in. 
The date of the findings' announcement is March 19, 2025. The exam is scheduled on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a duration of three hours. 

Thirty papers in all will be available. The GATE 2025 exam will only be offered in English and will only consist of objective questions. Only one or two test papers may be taken by candidates. A applicant should only fill out one application form, even if they are taking two test papers.

Qualifications


The GATE 2025 examination is open to candidates who are enrolled in three or more years of an undergraduate program or who have completed any degree program in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, the arts, or humanities that has been approved by the government. 
The GATE 2025 exam has no upper age limit for participation.

The GATE exam is a national assessment of candidates' knowledge in a range of subjects taught at the undergraduate level. Successful applicants may be eligible for financial assistance to pursue master's and doctoral programs. Public sector undertakings (PSUs) and educational institutions employ GATE scores in their hiring procedures.

The GATE score has been utilized by a number of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to screen applicants for employment. Among them are the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Coal India Limited (CIL), Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL), Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), and the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).
