Day 4 box office collection for Munjya: The newest horror comedy from Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films is bringing life to the faltering market, even if Monday's earnings dropped.
Following a highly successful first weekend of release, the horror-comedy Munjya saw a more than 50% decline in box office receipts on its first Monday. Early projections from industry tracker Sacnilk state that the most recent installment in Maddock Films' fantastical world took in Rs 3.75 crore on its opening Monday. Munjya, which starred Mona Singh and Sharvari Wagh in the key parts, made Rs 8.43 crore on Sunday after earning Rs 7.40 crore on Saturday. Surprisingly, the movie generated a whopping Rs 4.21 crore on its opening day. Munjya, directed by Amar Kuashik and featuring Aditya Sarpotdar, Dinesh Vijan, and Stree and Bhediya, made Rs 20.04 crore its first weekend.
