Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that Kalki 2898 AD, which debuted at the global box office on Thursday with Rs 191.5 crore, saw a significant decline on its second day of business. In India, Kalki 2898 AD made Rs 95.3 crore nett on its opening day; however, on its second day, the movie's receipts fell by more than 43 percent, totaling Rs 54 crore.
The Telugu version saw the most decline. On its second day, the Nag Ashwin-directed movie brought in Rs 25.65 crore, while the Telugu version of the movie made Rs 65.8 crore on its first day. On Friday, 65.02 percent of Telugu viewers saw the movie. With Rs 22.5 crore collected in Hindi on both days, nothing changed.v
