The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will announce the result for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2024 today, May 24. Students who took the entrance exam can download the COMEDK result 2024 from the official website, comedk.org, starting at 2 PM.

How to Access the Results

Candidates will need their login details to download the COMEDK UGET 2024 scorecard. Along with the results, the consortium will also publish each candidate's rank.

Key Dates and Process

The COMEDK UGET 2024 result will be based on the final answer key, released on May 21. This final answer key was prepared after considering challenges submitted by candidates against the provisional answer key. Candidates could raise objections between May 14 and 16. UGET scores will be used for admission to engineering programs.

Exam Details

COMEDK UGET 2024 was held on May 12 in three shifts: morning (8:30 AM to 11:30 AM), afternoon (1 PM to 4 PM), and evening (5:30 PM to 8:30 PM). Candidates received one mark for each correct answer, and there was no negative marking.

Tie-Breaking Rules

In the event of a tie between the scores of two candidates, the following criteria will be used to break the tie:

  1. Candidates with the fewest negative responses in physics, mathematics, and chemistry.
  2. Total marks in physics and mathematics in the entrance test.
  3. Marks in mathematics in the exam.
  4. Marks in chemistry in the exam.
  5. Age of the candidate, with the older candidate being ranked higher.

Normalization Method

Since the entrance exam was conducted in multiple sessions, the exam authorities will use a standard normalization process. The raw marks obtained by candidates will be converted to a percentile score.

Percentile Score Calculation

The percentile score of a candidate is calculated as follows:
