CENTAC 2024 Puducherry Revises List of Eligible Sports Disciplines: Registration Deadline Extended

The Puducherry Directorate of Higher and Technical Education has extended the application deadline for non-NEET courses like BTech, BSc, BPharm, and LLB under the sports quota to June 10. The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has also released a revised list of eligible sports disciplines. The updated list includes 65 types of sports for admission under the sports quota.

CENTAC extended the registration deadline “to provide enough time for candidates from newly added sports disciplines and to honor requests from applicants who have not completed their applications due to delays in obtaining Revenue certificates,” the committee stated.

However, those who completed their registration before May 31 will be locked in from June 1, with no further editing allowed. If discrepancies are found in the submitted application, candidates will be notified via their dashboards. Applicants will have time to correct any errors.

Candidates who qualify under any newly added sports disciplines must submit their request through the grievance option on their CENTAC portal dashboard along with their sports certificates.
