Despite their roles in the film produced by Vashu Bhagnani's production house Pooja Entertainment, several actors from 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' have yet to receive their payments. According to a report from the Indian Express, repeated requests for payment have been met with no response from Pooja Entertainment. The affected actors named include Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar.
As per an Indian Express report, Tiger Shroff has not received payment for his role in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. Although he has refrained from making public statements on the matter, sources suggest he is worried about the delayed payments not only for himself but also for the dedicated crew and support staff of the film. Tiger Shroff is now urging the production house to promptly settle all outstanding dues.
Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar have not received their payments for their roles in the film, as reported by The Indian Express. The actors completed their work on the film and despite making several requests, they have not received any response regarding their dues. Additionally, they actively participated in promoting the film out of their commitment, but payments were not forthcoming.
This situation arises following statements from Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari, who highlighted that Vashu Bhagnani owes more than ₹65 lakh to crew members involved in three films: 'Mission Raniganj', 'Ganapath', and 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. Tiwari mentioned that the Indian Film and Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) has sent numerous letters to Pooja Entertainment seeking payment, but the payments have been consistently delayed.
"In February, they requested an extension for payment, citing Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding, in an email dated February 20, 2024, to IFTDA. However, they did not respond thereafter. Following FWICE's letter in March 2024, they again sought additional time, mentioning they would settle dues post the release of their film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. Nevertheless, this has not yet transpired... In their latest correspondence, they have committed to clearing the dues by the end of July. If they fail to fulfill this commitment, our workers will abstain from participating in any of their upcoming projects," Tiwari emphasized.
Regarding 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', which stars Akshay Kumar and Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside others, the action film premiered in theaters on April 10 this year. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie was released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
