Washington: US President Joe Biden will speak to the nation on Wednesday to explain to his fellow citizens why he decided to drop out of the presidential contest and support his deputy, Kamala Harris, as the Democratic Party's contender for the general elections in November.
After spending over a week in his Delaware home, where he had self-isolated after testing positive for Covid-19 while campaigning in Las Vegas, Biden, 81, returned to the White House on Tuesday afternoon.
