AFCAT 2024 Registration Opens: Eligibility Criteria

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has initiated the application process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 on May 30. Interested candidates can fill out the AFCAT 2024 registration form on the official websites, careerindianairforce.cdac.in and afcat.cdac.in.

Application Process

Candidates need to sign up, complete the application form, and pay the fee during the AFCAT application process. After the application window closes, certain details like name, father's name, photo, signature, and thumb impression can be edited.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 550 plus GST to apply for the AFCAT 2024 exam. The application fee remains the same for all categories, and both men and women are eligible to apply.

Total Vacancies

The AFCAT 2024 exam aims to select candidates for the Flying Branch as well as the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. A total of 317 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment drive. The AFCAT 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on August 9, 10, and 11, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring to join the Flying Branch should be aged between 20 and 24 years, while for the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches, the age limit is between 20 and 26 years. Educational qualifications vary based on the specific role, but a minimum of 60 percent in graduation is mandatory.
