UPSC Rejects CAPF 2024 Applications of 9 Candidates: check out

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has rejected the application forms of nine candidates for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) exam in 2024 due to non-payment of the exam fee. The commission has asked these candidates to appeal against the rejection by June 6. The list of candidates with fictitious fees is available at upsc.gov.in

According to the commission, bank authorities did not confirm the receipt of Rs 200 from nine candidates for the CAPF (ACs) 2024 exam.

“In terms of the provisions in the Commission’s Notice No. 9/2024-CPF dated April 24, 2024, for the above examination uploaded on the Commission’s website, applications of all these applicants for the said examination have been rejected by the Commission. An email in this regard will also be sent to all applicants soon,” said UPSC in an official notice.

How to Appeal Against Application Rejection

The listed candidates can appeal the application rejection with supporting documents by speed post or by hand only to Pradeep Toppo, under secretary (CAPF), UPSC. Applicants need to submit the original hard copy of the following documents:

  1. The system-generated challan (in original) indicates if the fee was paid or deposited via cash mode in the State Bank of India (SBI).
  2. A copy of the debit or credit card statement or bank account statement if the fee was paid through debit or credit card or through internet banking of authorized banks. The copy of the copy of the statement  should be authenticated by bank authorities.

“An appeal against such rejection should be received in the Commission’s office by June 6, 2024. On receipt of documentary proof of genuine fee payment, the application will be revived if otherwise eligible,” UPSC further stated.
